Fixing the Plex iPhone & iPad Settings

These are the instructions on how to configure the Plex app on an iPhone and iPad.



  1. Open the Plex app on your device.

  2. At the top left of the page touch the 3 stacked lines

  3. Touch the newly show gear icon.


3. Under Quality (see photo for example)

Automaticlly Adjust Quality - OFF

Limit Celluar Data - OFF

URemote Streaming - MAXIMUM

Home Streaming - MAXIMUM



4.Under Advanced (see photo for example)

Allow Direct Play - ON

Prefer Downloaded Content - ON

User Old Video Player (if option is available) - OFF
